I completely agree with you on Middlemarch. My family really likes it. I have not heard about He Knew He Was Right; I’m going to look for it as I’m a big Trollope fan.

My family liked Middlemarch so well that we watched it twice during the year. :)

Trollope adaptations are not so easy to come by, are they? The 1980s Barchester Chronicles series is my favorite, but He Knew He Was Right is definitely worth watching too.

I've never read Middlemarch, as it's one of those classics that really intimidates me. But I'd like to give the adaptation a try. Love to read Trollope but have never watched any adaptations yet.

Have you ever watched the 1981 BBC miniseries of Great Expectations? I love that one! It has a very theatrical feel to it, which I loved.

No, I've only seen the 1946 movie version of Great Expectations! I've had my eye on the 1989 miniseries (good gracious, it's been adapted enough times, hasn't it) for a while, but haven't got around to watching it yet.

I have never seen any of these! I will have to look into watching some of them! Louisa sounds like it would be fun to watch. He Knew He Was Right also sounds interesting.

And all actors are white and definitely look non-binary. Amazing.
