Some new ones to me here! I haven't heard of Gamadge or Christianna Brand's mystery novels (I thought she only wrote Nurse Matilda) so will keep an eye out for them. I love Cadfael though, and Tey. I'd definitely have some Ngaio Marsh on my list, and maybe a Miss Silver novel, and I just finished Hamlet, Revenge! by Michael Innes which I enjoyed.
I read Hamlet, Revenge! several years ago and really enjoyed it too (it made my top-ten list for that year). I'd like to read more by Innes at some point.
There is also a film adaptation of Green For Danger starring Alastair Sim which is quite delightful, though different in some ways from the book.
Several writers here are new to me (hurrah!), but I admire your choices by Tey, Sayers, and Peters -- particularly "One Corpse Too Many," one of my favorites from the Brother Cadfael series because of the way she introduces and develops Hugh Beringar's character.

I do love Alastair Sim!

Yes! The way the character development and the mystery plot were woven together was amazing.
